和 = hé = and

It is a conjunction.

It does not use between two verbs (actions)

Let's see examples.

你和我。

nǐ hé wǒ

You and I

他和她

tā hé tā

He and she

老师和学生

(lǎo shī) hé (xué shēng)

(Teacher) and (student)

我们和你们。

(wǒ men) hé (nǐ men)

( We ) and (you , all)

中国和美国。

(zhōng guó) hé (měi guó)

(China) and (America)

飞机和火车

( fēi jī ) hé (huǒ chē)

(Aeroplane) and (train)

我有一个姐姐和弟弟。

(wǒ)(yǒu)(yí gè)(jiě jiě) hé (dì di)

I have a an elder sister and younger brother.

我有手机和本书。

(wǒ) (yǒu) (shǒu jī) (hé) (běn shū)

I have mobile and book

NOTE: It is wrong to say in Chinese.

我要吃米饭和喝果汁。(wrong)

(wǒ)(yào)(chī)(mǐ fàn) hé (hē)(guǒ zhī) (wrong)

(I)(want)(to eat)(rice) and (drink)(juic)

Here we will use

也 = yě = also

我要吃米饭也喝果汁。(Correct)

(wǒ) (yào) (chī) (mǐ fàn) yě (hē) (guǒ zhī)(Correct)

(I)(want)(to eat)(rice) also (drink)(juice)
